ultimate day trips
bvi north
Your day begins with a short run to the southern tip of Virgin Gorda to visit the iconic Baths. There an Elusive crew member will guide you through the labyrinth of paths and pools between the boulders.
On your return, light snacks and refreshments will be set out to replenish you after your trek. Next, your captain will set a course to Monkey Point, Guana Island. This snorkelling spot is known for its vibrant undersea scape with coral reefs, colourful fish and other marine life.
Once you have had your eyes full at Monkey Point – it’s time for lunch! On your way to White Bay, Jost Van Dyke, take in the lush scenery of Tortola’s north shore and a short tour of Sandy Cay and Sandy Spit.
Once at White Bay, we recommend Hendo’s Hideout for lunch and a painkiller at the infamous Soggy Dollar. We will pull up anchor and end the day with a cruise along BVI’s southern island chain.
BVI South
Once underway your captain will chart a course for Cistern Point, Cooper Island, your first snorkel for the day. After a refreshing dip in BVI’s crystal blue waters, you will cruise just off Salt Island where you can visit the Wreck of The Rhone.
A popular diving and snorkelling site, the RMS Rhone was once an Iron Royal Mail Ship that sank in 1867 during a hurricane and is now a protected national park teeming with marine life.
After the Rhone we continue along the southern island chain to Norman Island for lunch at Pirate’s Bight. Continuing the ultimate day trip, your next stop is snorkelling The Caves. These three caves on the western end of Norman Island, famous for their enchanting beauty and historical intrigue are often described as a “swim-in aquarium.”
Following is a short run over to a group of four towering rock formations, known as The Indians, where you will find another breath-taking array of marine life.
Once you are fully enamoured with BVI’s beauty you will end your day soaking in warm waters of White Bay, Jost Van Dyke.
